WHO I AM
BUY BOOKAn Omani emerging interdisciplinary poet. Author of the poetry photo book 'Release: Inner Conversations to Lead Us Home’ and creator of the poetry art film ’Inheritance | إرث’. The film has been exhibited in Oman and screened internationally in Australia, Austria, Greece, and Kenya. My recent project ‘Draw Me Closer | قربني’, is a visual dialogue exploring the complex tension between our intimate psyche and conformity in our relationship with the Divine source. My creative work is guided by my inner voice, a commitment to authenticity and deep belief that connection is ultimately rooted in vulnerability.

VIEW PHOTOGRAPHYI write to dive into the ocean of self to receive all that seeks to speak to me. Creativity to me, is a vital life force – it is how I breathe meaning in this world, experience it and liberate myself. It is simply my way of being.

MY STORY
My journey as a creative started in 2022 when I left the corporate world to pursue my artistic expression and lifelong inner calling. For most of my life, I perfectly embodied labels, titles and roles, turning to escapism as a constant refuge. As someone who experienced firsthand how conformity erodes our sense of self and belonging, I have lived through the quiet pain of disconnection. Through my 10-year journey towards contentment, I learned that our inner sovereignty demands more than a voice. It requires the radical acceptance of our hidden parts to release the heavy burden of shame. Out of this fiction, poetry became my sanctuary and the spark for my visual art.

MY OFFERING
To anchor a space of acceptance for the full expression of truth, untethered by shame. I invite the viewer to explore their own inner landscape of sovereignty, truth and Divinity. By depicting the cost of conformity on our shared humanness, I aspire to turn our vulnerability into a collective act of freedom.

MY PROCESS + THEME
My source of inspiration emerges from the friction of human inner life. Driven by the curiosity to explore the misunderstood, intimate, messy, chaotic spaces within us – including the taboo parts often labelled as sinful. I use my creative process to uncover what lies beneath our preconceived notions and go beyond social scripts. Poetry is the first physical start to this excavation. When a poem demands to expand beyond words, it becomes a call to witness something deeper inside myself. This inner reconciliation turns the poem into photography, film, or another form of visual art. By shedding light on these parts, sharing my work becomes a practice to transform intimate vulnerability into a sacred dialogue of acceptance.
